Bio

Charlene Potts Cook is the Music Specialist for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders as well as the Pre-K classes.

My husband and I have a daughter who recently graduated from college.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading historical fiction, and piecing quilts.  I practice my music performance skills by playing hand bells with my church hand bell choir and alto saxophone with the Mid-South Concert Band.

My favorite styles of music are Bluegrass, Big Band Jazz, and ‘70s era Top 40 music.

I very much enjoy teaching at ERE because of the wonderful diversity of our student body, the supportive parents, the spectacular staff, and our intentional plan to guide our students toward their leadership potential.

Your children are going to be my Leader In Me™ accountability partners as I strive to meet my goal of “Seeing” a healthier me by “Doing” more water drinking and walking more with a “Get” of weight loss.
