I completed my Bachelor of
Science in Education at the University of New Mexico in 2008. Within a
week of my graduation, I was hired at McCormick Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of teaching multiple grade levels and
subjects, and have enjoyed the experience they have each provided me. Before
moving to Tennessee, I taught in private education at Central Christian Academy
in Wichita, Kansas. My seven years of employment at CCA were
remarkably significant to me, and I was sad to say goodbye to the wonderful
students, faculty, and families there. However, I have now had the
pleasure of working for Hamilton County Schools, teaching 4th grade at East
Ridge Elementary, where I have found an equally fantastic learning community to
call my new home.
