School start time: 8:15 (breakfast starts at 7:45)
School end time: 3:15 (car rider line ends at 3:45)

 

All the doors remain locked throughout the school day. You must enter in the main office by buzzing the office at the front door. Entry in the building requires Photo ID  and will be scanned upon your first visit to the school.

Dress Code

Children should always be in school-appropriate clothing.  (No clothes may promote alcohol, cigarettes, or violence.)  Students should wear tennis shoes daily and no hats or hoods should be worn in the building.

If students do not have tennis shoes on in PE, due to safety, they may be asked to sit out and miss the PE activity for the day.

Transportation (Pick up/Drop Off)

  • Afternoon Pick Up:
    • No early dismissals after 2:30 PM!
    • Any transportation changes must be done over Dojo or in person.  We do not accept them over the phone.
    • Parents may not walk up to the front doors during dismissal to get their children.  Please make sure you are in the car rider line with your car tag.
    • Parents, To help ensure that the car-rider line moves fast and safely, we ask that parents do not use your cell phones while in the line for pick up. This helps with the traffic and speed of the line. Thank you in advance or your help!

 

  • Morning Drop Off:
    • Parents must either get in the car line or walk students to the front door.  Do not drop students off in the parking lot or at the flagpole.
    • In the car line, please wait to let students out of your car until you are in front of the crosswalk and the staff member at the front has indicated you can unload your car.
    • Parents who want to walk students into the building must sign into the office first.
    • Please do not park in the fire lane in the morning drop off.
    • Students are not allowed to walk to their morning locations until 7:45 am.
    • Breakfast is not served until 7:45 am and ends at 8:10 am.
    • We ask that you refrain from using your cell phone in the line for the safety of our children.

Buses are expected to arrive within 10 minutes of their scheduled time. Please have students at their stops and ready to board the bus 10 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time. The bus schedule can not allow more time to wait for tardy students or for students to exit personal vehicles. Hamilton County Schools transports more than 20,000 students to and from school each day. There are 251 daily bus routes covering 23,000 miles each day and 4.0 million miles annually. Our mission is to provide safe and efficient transportation to and from school daily.

Parents,
Please do not park in the Fire Lane when in the building. Please use our parking spaces to ensure no cars are blocked and we have the lane open for emergencies.
